Stephen has served as a Funeral Director for 20 years, 14 of those here in the San Luis Valley.  Stephen attended Commonwealth Funeral Institute where he received his degree in Funeral Directing.  He voluntarily holds his Certified Funeral Director and Certified Embalmer certifications through the Colorado Funeral Directors Association as well as his Life Insurance Producers License in the state of Colorado.  Stephen is currently serving in his 6th year as the Rio Grande County Coroner and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Funeral Directors Association.  He previously served 4 years on the Colorado Coroners Association Board of Directors.  in his free time, he enjoys supporting local jr. high and high school sports, especially his children's events and traveling with his family

Gail has been working in the funeral industry for over 10 years.  She shares her knowledge and expertise with families working side by side to prepare meaningful tribute stationary and keeping the office organized.

Art is a retired firefighter from Charleston, South Carolina.  He moved here 3 years ago to care for his parents.  Since then, Art has taken on the role of Chief Deputy Coroner for Rio Grande County and will assist with services provided by Mountain Valley Mortuary.  In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, reffing local youth sports.

Della is a longtime resident of Monte Vista.  She has been a hairdresser for years and still does a few days a week in her shop.  She is a talented musician and enjoys sharing her gift with the congregation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monte Vista.  Della is a member of the Eastern Star.  She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and doing hand crafts.

Carolyn is a longtime resident of Monte Vista.  She retired as the administrator for the Legacy in Monte Vista after years of service.  Carolyn enjoys going for walks and playing Bridge.  She is happiest when spending time with her friends and family.
