Melonie Longoria

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Melonie Lynea Longoria, who left this world peacefully on November 4, 2025, at the age of 53. Born on August 2, 1972, in Del Norte, Colorado, Melonie was a vibrant force of love and resilience.

Melonie was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, who enriched the lives of those around her with an unwavering spirit and selfless nature. She radiated warmth and kindness, always ready to lend a hand to those in need, regardless of her own circumstances. She was especially fond of her miniature cows, her cherished cats, and her loyal dog, Zabby. Melonie had a unique talent for creating delicious fruit salads that she joyfully brought to family gatherings and parties, sharing her love through the simple pleasures of life.

A true adventurer at heart, Melonie delighted in family camping trips and cherished moments spent fishing with her friend, Jeff. Although she faced many challenges throughout her life, Melonie's tenacity and determination shone brightly, inspiring everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Melonie is survived by her beloved grandparents, who raised her, Albert and Juanita LeBlanc; sisters, Sher (Sheldon) Duran, Dawn Medina, Alberta (Darrin) Stacy; brother, Jerry (Luella) LeBlanc; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry her memory in their hearts. She also leaves behind close friends, Robin and Jim Leist, and Butch Haught.

Melonie was preceded in death by her parents, Ted Marquez and Sharon Atencio and her husband Randy Longoria.

A loving memorial service will be held in her honor at Mountain Valley Mortuary on November 7, 2025, at 10:30 AM, following a public viewing at the same location at 10:00 AM. Followed by a reception at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate the beautiful life of Melonie Longoria, remembering her strength, compassion, and the love she so freely shared with all.
