Angelia Sue
Campbell
Nov 16, 1955 — Sep 28, 2026
Angelia Sue Campbell (formerly Treadwell) of Del Norte, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the age of 70. Angelia was the first of Charles Imon Davis and Carolyn Sue Davis's three children, born October 16, 1955, in Quonset Point, Rhode Island. Her childhood involved many moves due to Charles's professional life before the family eventually moved to Snyder, Oklahoma. Angelia attended Snyder High School, where she began dating Bradley Neal Treadwell. They attended college together at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacology and became a licensed pharmacist in 1979. Brad and Angelia married that year and settled in Snyder. They soon began their own family, welcoming a son and daughter, Nick and Lauren. For most of her children's early life, Angelia balanced the demands of being a wife, mother, and working around the region as a relief pharmacist. Once the children were older, she transitioned into full-time work outside the home as a pharmacist at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Angelia and Brad were divorced in 2002.
The second phase of her life followed in 2004 with Richard Alan Campbell. They were married and moved into their dream home in the mountains of Colorado south of Del Norte. In 2011, Angelia realized one of her life goals as owner and operator of the independent Rio Grande Pharmacy. She retired in 2019 to her home in the mountains with her beloved dogs, cats, and the occasional bear. Angelia loved reading, cozy blankets, and hot tea. She loved meteors and stargazing. She loved hiking in the mountains with Rick. She loved listening to the trickle of the creek and tremble of Aspen leaves from her back porch. She loved watching Oklahoma football and Rockies baseball. She loved her kids and her family. She is gone too soon.
Angelia was preceded in death by both her parents in 2013 and her husband, Rick, in 2019. She is survived by her children, Nick Treadwell in West Virginia and Lauren Treadwell in Texas, and her two siblings, Alan Davis and Jeanne Roberts in Oklahoma.
Remembrance services are planned for both Oklahoma and Colorado and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in her honor to Humane Colorado (https://donate.humanecolorado.org/campaign/800391/donate).
